POSITION:	Vice President - Insurance Sales
LOCATION:	Salina KS
GRADE:	12
RESPONSIBILITY:	The Vice President – Insurance Sales is responsible for selling crop insurance products and providing outstanding service. Develops and executes effective marketing strategies, maintains insurance product knowledge and expertise, and enhances Association image and reputation. Services an existing insurance book of business as assigned to maximize retention and growth.
EXPERIENCE:	BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience. 2 years of experience in the insurance industry including knowledge of all crop insurance products and services. Appropriate insurance licenses. Ability to travel in performance of job. This would include overnight travel outside of regular business hours Ability to follow specific written and oral instructions; create and sustain positive working relationships with co-workers, legal counsel, the general public, and member borrowers; the ability to ensure timely action on requests for assistance or in order to meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions within delegated authorities and time pressures. Must be proficient in organizing and prioritizing work to met deadlines. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional persuasive and interpersonal skills. Proficient in the use of PC, including e-mail, word processing and electronic spreadsheet software.
